Here is the cover of the current issue of Hot Press which features the results of my ‘quick’ shoot with Barry Drew AKA Plan B earlier in July. We were sent to the wonderful setting of Dalby Forest, in New Yorkshire, where he was playing a sold-out show as part of his ‘forest’ tour to promote his forthcoming album ‘Ill Manors‘. However, the weather decided to go against me and meant I couldn’t actually do outdoor shots and make use of the scenery, as the rain was biblical. Unfortunately all I had to use was his dressing room, known usually as a big white marquee…

So HP art director and cover putter-togetherer, Mr Andrew Duffy had lots of shots of Mr B against a white background which is fine and gives him something to work with. Thankfully my subject knew the score, pulled the faces, did the moves which gave us a lot of choice considering the shooting time. In the we got a shot we were all happy with, which you can see below.
